1. Dutch Cream Waffles 

    1 cup all-purpose flour 

    1/4 teaspoon salt 

    3 eggs

    1 cup heavy cream

    1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. In a small mixing bowl, beat egg yolks while adding cream. Beat for 1 minute. Add to flour mixture; combine, then beat until smooth. 

    2. In another small mixing bowl and with clean beaters, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into batter. 

    3. Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer’s directions. Serve with warm maple syrup and/or fresh fruit.
